Due to the pandemic, the number of homeschool children has doubled to reach 4,210. However, this phenomenon remains rare in Switzerland, accounting for only 0.4% of children. Nevertheless, there are considerable differences between cantons. Several cantons have recently tightened the requirements for homeschooling.
