Short Biography

Dr Stefan Legge is Vice-Director and Head of Tax & Trade Policy at the ILE-HSG Institute at the University of St. Gallen. Alongside his acclaimed teaching activities, he advises political and economic decision-makers. He regularly discusses current issues in the national and international media. His main areas of expertise are macroeconomics and international trade. He studied in Mannheim and completed his doctorate in St. Gallen. He has spent research stays in San Diego, Berkeley and Princeton. He joined Avenir Suisse as an Adjunct Fellow in 2024.
