Online discussion with Russian opposition activist Leonid Volkov (Alexei Navalny’s Chief of Staff) on the future of Russia
Wednesday, March 30, 12.00 to 1.30 p.m.
The international community is looking for means to end the Russian war of aggression in Ukraine. The current domestic political developments in Russia are of great importance in this context, where the regime is increasingly cracking down on criticism from its own citizens. How much support is there for Russian President Putin’s position? What is the current state of the Russian opposition? What is the outlook for democratic development in the country in the medium and long term, and what can the West contribute?
Leonid Volkov, the political advisor and Alexei Navalny’s Chief of Staff, one of the leading voices of the Russian opposition, has agreed to take part in an online discussion. After a short introductory speech, he will be available for questions.
