Short biography
Carlo Portmann is Head of Media and Content at Avenir Suisse. Previously, he was an economics editor at a financial services provider, a communications consultant at an agency, and a media trainer for the Swiss Army. He also gained experience in business journalism as an intern at the Neue Zürcher Zeitung and as an independent correspondent at Silicon Valley.
He holds a master’s degree from the London School of Economics and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Zurich, both in political science.

Master’s degree in Political Science with a focus on comparative political economy at the London School of Economics (2014–15); Bachelor’s degree in Political Science (major) and Modern History (minor) at the University of Zurich (2011–24).
