Dr. Jakob Schaad was Vice Director and Head of Strategic Policy Analysis at Avenir Suisse from January 2017 to December 2018. He was responsible for the strategic policy analyses of Avenir Suisse. Previously, he has worked as the Deputy CEO of the Swiss Bankers Association and Economic Advisor to Federal Councillor Doris Leuthard. He used to be a member of the Governing Board of the Swiss National Bank and worked in several positions for the IMF.
