In Switzerland, migration and its consequences are at the heart of the debate, especially in the wake of the federal elections. In the face of strong warnings about Switzerland’s population reaching 10 million residents, the economic benefits of migration are often forgotten.

During our autumn conference that was held at the ETH Zurich, forthright discussions on migration were conducted with the Federal Councilor Elisabeth Baume-Schneider. However, immigration isn’t just about facts and figures. It is primarily about people, which is why it was only fitting that we headed over to the ETH Zurich, where we spoke with highly qualified people with a migration background. Four academics from this renowned university shared their thoughts on Switzerland.
