Archive: Jürg Müller

Dr. Jürg Müller is the Director of Avenir Suisse. Previously, he was a Senior Fellow and Head of Research “Infrastructure and Markets.” He worked on issues related to competition policy, public services, and optimal regulation, focusing on the financial, telecoms, and media sectors. After studying economics at the universities of St. Gallen and Cambridge he did his PhD at ETH Zurich and spent four years as an economics editor at the NZZ newspaper. He wrote numerous articles on the impact of the digital revolution on the financial system and is coauthor of the book “The End of Banking”, which was translated to several languages.
