Professional Experience:
Joined the economics newsroom of the «Neue Zürcher Zeitung» in 2011. NZZ economics correspondent in Frankfurt (2004–09), Washington DC (2009–14) and Berlin (2014–19). Deputy head of the economics section (2023–24). Since 2015, lecturer for the seminar «Brennpunkt Wirtschaftspolitik – Ökonomie im Kampf der Argumente» at the University of Zurich.
